Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-07-22

Noriel is a mobile application designed to help parents track and manage their child’s daily activities such as feeding, sleep, diapers, pumping, growth, play time, health information, and personal notes.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the
Noriel mobile application and related services.
By using Noriel, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Noriel collects only the information required to provide the functionality of the application.

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Email address
• Authentication information required to access your account

Child Activity Data

Noriel allows users to voluntarily store activity information related to their child. This may include:

• Feeding records
• Sleep logs
• Diaper changes
• Pumping records
• Growth measurements
• Health notes
• Play activity logs
• Personal diary entries

This information is stored only to provide the functionality of the application and is visible only to the account owner.

Photos in the diary

If you attach a photo to a diary entry, that photo is stored on your device. If you have an account, it is also uploaded to our media storage so that it can sync to your other devices and be seen by the people you have invited into your family.

Photos are stored in object storage operated by Cloudflare, Inc. and are served from media.noriel.app. They are not public: access requires an authenticated request tied to your family.

We do not analyse the content of your photos. We do not run face recognition, we do not use them to train any model, and we do not share them with advertisers.

If you delete a diary entry, its photo is deleted with it. If you delete your account, all photos associated with it are deleted.

Purchases and subscriptions

Noriel offers an optional paid subscription. Payments are processed by Apple — we never see your card details, and we have no access to your payment method.

To know whether your subscription is active, we use RevenueCat, Inc., which receives from Apple a purchase identifier, the product you bought, and the dates your access starts and ends. RevenueCat also assigns an identifier to your device or account so that a purchase made before you registered can be linked to your account afterwards.

We store on our own servers only what is needed to answer the question “is this person’s subscription active right now”: the status, the expiry date, and the identifiers above. We do not store your Apple ID, your name as it appears on your payment method, or any card data — we never receive them.

You can use Noriel without ever making a purchase, and we do not process any of this data unless you do.

Usage and Device Information

To improve performance and stability, Noriel may automatically collect technical information such as:

• Device Internet Protocol address (IP address)
• Device model and device type
• Operating system and version
• App version and configuration
• Time and date of usage
• Diagnostic and crash data

Analytics and Crash Reporting

Noriel may use third party services to monitor app performance, analyze usage patterns, and detect technical issues.

These services may collect anonymous usage data to help improve application stability and user experience.

AI Features

Noriel may provide AI-assisted features that help users quickly log activities through voice or text input.

Data submitted through AI features is processed only to generate the requested functionality within the application. This data is not used to build user profiles and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.

How We Use Information

Information collected through Noriel is used only for the following purposes:

• To operate and maintain the application
• To store and display user activity records
• To improve app functionality and performance
• To detect and resolve technical issues
• To provide customer support

Data Storage and Security

User data may be stored on secure cloud infrastructure used to operate the application.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

What our analytics do and do not see

We measure how the app is used so we can make it better — which screens are opened, whether an action succeeded, where people get stuck.

We never send analytics events containing your child’s name, your email address, diary text, notes, photographs, invitation codes, or the medical content of any record. Analytics tell us that something happened, never what was written.

Data Retention

User data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service.

Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time. When an account is deleted, personal data will be removed or anonymized within a reasonable time period unless retention is required by law.

Your Privacy Rights (GDPR and International Users)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access your data
• The right to correct inaccurate information
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to restrict processing of your data
• The right to request a copy of your data

To exercise these rights, contact us using the email listed below.

Children’s Privacy

Noriel is intended for use by parents or legal guardians.

The application does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any information related to a child is entered voluntarily by the parent or guardian for tracking purposes.

If you believe that personal data related to a child has been submitted without appropriate consent, please contact us so that the data can be removed.

Noriel is used by parents and guardians to record information about their own children. A child never has an account, never signs in, and is never communicated with. The records about a child are entered by the adult who cares for them and are visible only to that adult and to the people they explicitly invite.

We do not build advertising profiles from any of this, and we do not sell it.

Links to External Services

Noriel may contain links to third party websites or services. If you access external services, their privacy policies will apply.

Noriel is not responsible for the privacy practices of third party services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

If changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
